About us

Siauliai Budgetary InstitutionTennisSchool (abbr. SiauliaiTennisSchool).

On 1 Sep 1989, Executive Committee of Siauliai Congress of People's Deputies established the SiauliaiTennisSchool; on 2 Nov 2000, upon establishment of Siauliai City Municipality Council, it was reorganised into the TennisSchool under the Siauliai Physical Culture and Sports Centre (division of the Siauliai Physical Culture and Sports Centre). Since 02/01/2004, upon establishment of Siauliai City Municipality Council, it was reorganised to SiauliaiCityMunicipalBudgetary InstitutionTennisSchool (public legal entity, municipal budgetary institution). A sports branch cultivated: lawn tennis.

Distinguished coaches: Remigijus Balžekas (a honoured coach of Lithuania, captain of the Lithuanian national men‘s tennis team), Šarūnas Kunlys (a honoured coach of Lithuania, a captain of the Lithuanian junior team), Rita Romencovienė (National sports coach, a captain of the Lithuanian junior team).

In 2012, there work 8 coaches, practise 250 tennis-players, 3 national team players, 2 youth team members, 5 junior team members.
